Walmart Supercenter DOTHAN - Hours, Reviews & Deals

MALCOM THE STORE MANAGER IS AN ISSUE FOR THIS ORGINASION. First do not I repeat do not do an order pick up from this location. Me and my wife and 2 kids waited in the pickup line for over 60 minutes. When I went to go ask what was taking so long I was first met with ( it was not ready) that was at the 45-minute mark the employees all had attitudes. None of them looked like they should have been working. Not one employee was wearing none slip shoes. Just as a side note. At the 60-minute mark my wife went inside to look for the store manager. After locating him she explained the issue. During this time while she was inside one of the employees brought me the order. He started to explain what the issue was I replied I just want my groceries. He proceeded to take them back inside due to me complaining. When my wife came back to the truck, I explained what was going on she said the manager is coming. The manager MALCOM came outside, I extended my hand for a handshake and he grabbed it so hard trying to INTIMIDATE me, so I grabbed back and explained the situation to him. I also explained to him on how he should never approach customers in that manner. As I could tell he was worried more about his muscles and looks than being a good and decent manager. This has been an issue. Being from Bentonville this is really sad that a Walmart is being ran like this one here in Dothan.

Walmart you should be ashamed of yourselves. Every once in a while everybody has to do with some last minute shopping before a holiday. Today was no exception. I hurried through my shopping, hoping that I didn't leave anything off my list. As I was leaving the store tonight, just after 5:30, what I saw tonight disgusted me. Every entrance to the store was locked, only one exit available. 4 cashiers at registers. People were 20 deep in self check out with barely any assistance from Walmart employees. And there was one lady who's standing at the only exit, barricading anybody else from entering the store at 5: 30pm, store closed at 6pm. Several of our city residents in our county residents were standing outside the doors hoping to get in to get a few last-minute essentials for their families for Christmas. Listen, I get that everybody wants to spend time with their family on Christmas and this year is no exception. The absolute lack of integrity, care or concern for others, was gutwrenching. I saw one woman nearly in tears because she needed something desperately from inside, but the Walmart employee baracading the entrance couldn't be bothered... I wish I had taken a video. Walmart I get that you have a monopoly of basically everything, consumer-wise, from groceries to car care to medical services, but this is unreal. And I hope others, that were there and saw this, will speak up... This isn't the first time that this Walmart has done things unethically, several weeks ago, they disposed of something in their dumpsters or garbage refuse that had the entire Southside of Dothan smelling like rotting meat... Decaying flesh. Walmart delivery services are mediocre at best. Shelves constantly left in chaos or empty. No rain check on essential items. But tonight takes the cake, y'all could have stream-lined essentials, blocking off the areas least shopped, and properly staffed the rest of the store. I hope that lady that was almost in tears was able to hopefully find what she needed for her family even if it wasn't at Walmart... Merry Christmas, great customer service 😐
