You don't pay sales tax In alaska.what ever you need to order place it at least 6 months in advance...takes time to ship up there...if you're looking to buy a fish reel.or rod...make sure they have the model number..
Call them ..place an order on line ship to store for pickup is an other option ...if your plan on fishing for salmon in july...all rod and reel will definitely be sold out by then. Best is to charter a boat they will provide you with everything..even ship your catch too.
There's snag fishing in seaward. Season runs May to September fishing on the shore line...I enjoy that

If u ask the workers in the firearms section will look for it on the floor and if it's not found there they Will check their other store's inventory and also check their online store for u if u don't have the access to do so from home.  I hope that this helps.

Bells and bearspray if your not armed but a good shotgun can be had at any of the local stores, pawn shops, and Alaska List for relatively cheap. Personally I thought bear spray was so that you can be seasoned for the bear. 😁

Rather doubtful. Personally I would absolutely not allow  anyone (even my close relative) RENT my firearms. I'm a,senior citizen and have never ever heard of the concept. I cannot imagine the liability with a stranger. Bad enough to allow a close relative to use one
