Sportsman's Warehouse MESA - Hours, Reviews & Deals

Man this place really went downhill since I started coming here 15 years ago. I was harassed everywhere I went! I was looking at the knife sharpeners and knives, and when the worker saw me looking he comes up to me and asks if I needed help. So I asked to see a few knives. First off he was hesitant to let me see anything. Then once I first saw one he flinched! (Like I was going to swing it at him or something? ) Then he pressured me to make a selection, which I told him that I was just going to browse then, since I could tell he was very uncomfortable in his presence. And 30 seconds goes by and then they send some chick over who came to the knife section and started checking the locks at the displays I was viewing. Then she walked around and stood within 2 feet of me looking into my basket and then she just stood there pretending to look at price tags or something. She was very clearly making sure that I knew that they were watching me. Mind you I am very visibly handicapped, I walk with a cane and I can barely walk without falling over. And they even had staff at the door making sure I didn't leave without paying for what I had in my basket. I am appalled for the way I was harassed in there and I am going to file complaints. Because that was very unnecessary and unacceptable, the way I was treated. This used to be my favorite store and I chose to come in today because it was my birthday and I was in a really good mood and wanted to buy myself some gifts. And I ended up leaving feeling disgusted and not welcome. THE ONLY REASON WHY I GAVE 2 STARS WAS FOR THE PEOPLE IN GUNS AND AMMO DEPARTMENT. (That was the first place I went to) One of the guys there shook my hand when he greeted me. I told him that I used to come in a lot and this WAS my favorite place. Which the guy said, "Well then welcome home then! " But after I left that department is when everything changed dramatically.

3 different online orders placed within a few days of each other. Gift card was never emailed to recipient. Called 24 hours later and they were able to just immediately send it? Then order an in stock red dot, email says store can’t find product it’s being shipped and won’t refund until store gets item in shipping (what?), then a gun order online to pick up same day, thought saving time. Turns out store can’t find gun (lost a gun?) and it’s being shipped yet again. Call store only for them to tell me we have plenty of those in stock today. No way to fulfill my order from current inventory, must wait for shipping of other gun. Store says come in and buy gun from Inventory and cancel other other and refund to be issued in 3-5 days plus weekends and holidays (this is Christmas time!). This is actually the 3 worst online shopping experiences I’ve had on 3 different occasions all at Sportsman’s. Shame because I’ve spent 10s of thousands on guns and hunting equipment here. 800 number only cared about canceling order absolutely no customer service.
