I recently pre-ordered live chicks from this establishment and felt the entire experience was extremely disappointing. After receiving an email from C-A-L Ranch offering pre-ordered chicks at competitive pricing, I mistakenly felt it presented a good opportunity to secure chicks with minimal hassle. Unfortunately, the entire experience quickly soured. I placed and prepaid the order in the middle of January 2026' with the delivery expected in early February 26'. As we entered the second week of February 26' with no activity I started becoming concerned. My concern quickly magnified once I received an email from C-A-L Ranch asking how did the order go and if I was happy with the chicks? Sadly I hadn't received my chicks when the email came in. I went to the store and inquired over the status of the chicks and was assured that the chicks hadn't yet arrived at the store and that the email originated from the C-A-L Ranch corporate office highlighting the disconnect within C-A-L Ranch. Another week past and still no notification or updates from C-A-L Ranch. Now well into the third week of February with no communication and no chicks I went to the store with the intent of cancelling the order and trying to buy chicks elsewhere. Oddly my chicks were there awaiting pickup. Once l got home I had two emails from C-A-L Ranch, advising the birds were ready and the other advising the birds had been picked up. I found the entire experience extremely frustrating and downright annoying. The lack of organization and fact based communication was deeply disturbing and made me question the desire of conducting repeat business with C-A-L Ranch. À total perplexing example of failed guests relations. While I'm happy with the birds, my elation ends there. I have zero plans to repeat this bizarre trip down the rabbit hole when I buy more chicks in the future. No complaints with the store or staff on general merchandise, but avoid the disastrous prepaid chick sale circus.

I recently received excellent service from supervisor Jason managers Amy, and Kayla. there was a discrepancy with prices of items I bought on a black Friday and they were kind and very efficient with rectifying all issues. I would recommend CAL Ranch to anyone.
