Hell no. Rent something. They aren't your parents. It's a retail location in the center of a town. Go camp at a campsite. And 'no' you can't stay at walmart either. That's incorrect. You can stay at a campground tho.

Yes..bring your true identification ( Driver's license ) I don't think a standard driver's license  will do. If your driver's license says "federal limits apply ", then you might not be able to buy a gun or amo in California...
