Yes it is open. I was there on Sunday. If you're looking for guns or ammunition you need to make an appointment ahead of time. Everything else is available right away.

You would need to sign up for a firearm safety course.  They can talk you through the basics but if you plan on purchasing a hand gun you need the card from a certified class and test.
