Question 1

Can I buy a black powder pistol if I'm a felon

Jordan Elmore · Accepted Answer

First off im going to start by saying I'm not a lawyer. It seems like the state of Colorado has a POWPO law which means you can't own a fire arm of any kind. I would contact your lawyer before buying any kind of weapon. You may even have restrictions on knives.

Springs Armory · Answer

I don't think so. But since we don't sell black powder weapons, I honestly don't know.

Question 2

How long does a item purchased online take to be available for pickup?

Springs Armory · Accepted Answer

Typically 7-10 business days.

Question 3

Do you Transfer and ship 3rd party guns to other states and individuals?

I am trying to ship my 1903 3006 from me to my son inlaw in north caralina.

Your assistance would be appriciated.

Thanks
Steven Henderson

Springs Armory · Accepted Answer

Yes, that is a service that we offer. However all shipping is done by appointment only, so if you would like to set up a shipping appointment please call during our business hours 10:30 to 6:30 Tuesday through Saturday and ask to speak with one of the young ladies up front to get you scheduled for a shipping appointment. They will be able to explain the remaining process to you when you are on the phone.

Question 4

How do I get 5.13% tax rate as mentioned on your website? Do I need to come in-store and pay cash for it? Because when I check out online, they would tax me at a regular rate.

Springs Armory · Accepted Answer

If you come into the store and pre order... online it's still the 5.13% sales tax, but you don't get the 3% cash discounted pricing when you purchase online because you pay with a credit card.

Question 5

30 round mags for AR?

D Miller (Dorn) · Accepted Answer

They sell the ar-15 repair kits for magazines, but not fully built mags. They have 15, 20, and 30 round magazine repair kits.

Question 6

i just sold a gun to a friend in NM, how do i go about getting the proper paperwork to get this done

Mike Bryant · Accepted Answer

You may want to call Springs Armory and ask. This question system goes to customers/Google Maps users, not the store.

But I don't think you need any paperwork on this end. You'll need to ship it via UPS, but not through a "UPS Store" it needs to be a hub or whatever they call it. And it has to ship to an FFL/Dealer in NM for your friend to receive it. They may have to fill out a background check, form 4473 at the FFL.

In fact, probably best to call the friends FFL to ask how and where to ship.

Question 7

Is there a layaway option here?

Springs Armory · Accepted Answer

Yes sir... it's 20% down and 60 days same as cash :)

forge0p 3 · Answer

They do have an option like that. Im not 100% sure on details but they take a certain percentage up front and then however many days to pay it off.

Question 8

Do you do firearms transfers? I have had some forearms stored at my parents home in Fountain and want to ship my Rugar Pistol to a FFL dealer in Virginia where I now live. If so, approx. what would the shipping and transfer fee be at your end?

Than

Mike Bryant · Accepted Answer

Marvin, you do not need to ship firearms from an FFL, but you do need to ship TO an FFL. USPS will not ship firearms, but you can ship through other delivery companies. Check FedEx and UPS websites for details on how to ship a firearm.

Question 9

Do you offer veteran/military discount?

Nathan Andersen · Accepted Answer

They offer a discount on the NICS check for veteran and 1st responders

Question 10

If some one is looking for a specific gun would you order the gun with day a down payment and such? Example I'm looking for a cmmg mk4 pdw pistol in 300 blackout

Dylan Carvey · Accepted Answer

As long as a vendor they use carries the item you are looking for it they will usually offer to order it if you even ask about an item not in store. Good luck I hope their vendor has what you are searching for!

Mike Bryant · Answer

Yes. I've ordered a gun through them before. Depending on the cost, they may ask you to pay a portion up front.
