I just finished a pistol certification course with Fifth State Firearms, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Bill is one of those instructors who immediately makes you feel comfortable—calm, engaged, and totally attentive to each person in the room. The whole class had a relaxed vibe, but he still made everything clear and easy to follow, no rushing, no pressure. When we got to the range, he worked with every single one of us individually. He gave practical tips, corrected our form in a way that actually made sense, and you could tell he genuinely wanted everyone to feel confident and safe. He even walked us through the paperwork and the entire process afterward, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Also, you get greeted by his beautiful Doberman, Rolo, who might be one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. If you’re looking to get certified, take Bill’s course.
