A June 2026 appeals ruling (Eubanks v. State) struck down the age-21 limit for the Concealed Weapon or Firearm License (CWFL), so adults 18 and older can now get one. The CWFL is still useful for reciprocity and to skip the purchase waiting period. Open carry became legal in September 2025 after a court ruling. |
