This person is asking for a gun license, not a concealed carry permit.
There is no such thing as a "gun license", to purchase a gun from an outfitter or gun dealer you must be of age, have a legal form of identification and be able to pass a federal background check.
If you are in fact looking for a concealed carry permit then you need to go to your local court house for information.

I will be heading to the AT in mid April or 2024, is this more or less enroute from the Atlanta Airport to the start of the AT?  Am wondering about transportation availability from this store to the AT start.

It's about 35 miles north of the airport.  You would be going from the south of Atlanta north out of Atlanta.
