This range has potential, but the staff is absolutely dreadful. I walked in, hoping to go shooting like any normal range visit, only to be told that I wouldn't be able to shoot at all that day without being a member of their program. Would not give me a time or time frame was very rude. With only 20 bays in the building, I understand they won't fill them for safety reasons, but they’re open from 10 AM to 9 PM. The math just doesn’t add up; it’s ridiculous to have no slots for walk-ins. During my visit, there was only one person shooting in the entire range. I've heard this place has a terrible reputation, but I kept my mouth shut until today. As I was leaving, I overheard employees discussing me in a derogatory manner after I declined their pushy membership offer. This was a truly awful experience. In the past, I’ve brushed off the range masters, who seem to think they’re the best in the business, but their condescending jokes are completely unprofessional. I could write a lengthy essay detailing the multitude of ways this place has declined. Having been shooting for years, I can confidently say this range is on a downward spiral. I genuinely wish they could improve, especially given the lack of shooting options in Lake County.

Joseph, our instructor, took the time to walk through the key safety points in a way that tied together the entire course. Joseph explained and gave examples that reinforced the content. At the end of the course, we shot safer and more accurate with a high level of confidence. Thank you Joseph and Range USA for the best environment to be safe and learn to shoot with confidence and accuracy.
