We were treated very badly by a Manager, Because we attempted to buy two boxes of these Christmas cookies Which were clearly marked as 75% off. When we checked out, they rang up regular price so we just ask for the price to be changed Because they were marked 75% off and there were multiple packages in the 75% off section. The manager told us that he is not allowed to change the price on Pepperidge Farm products. Since we were checking out, we had to go all the way back to the cookie aisle and get different cookies since we were only buying these because they were 75% off. It doesn’t seem like a real policy that they can’t change the price on Pepperidge farm products, and I feel that if they have something marked as 75% off, it is their error and that they should change the price. Outside of that, the manager was just rude- so we did go back and double check just to make sure we weren’t crazy.

Let me start by saying that my previous experience with the auto department in the store was exemplary. This is why, when it was time to change the tires on my other car I had no hesitation. I ordered the tires and scheduled the service. More than two weeks in advance, unfortunately, but I thought that that there is somewhat justifiable because of the holidays. I came in, gave them the key, gave them the locking nut for the wheels and gave them a lot of compliments regarding the previous encounter. This was supposed to take 30 minutes. 2 1/2 hours later I go to ask them if they have an update on my service, because I got tired of shopping in the store. They told me that they tried to reach me. Unclear how. They might have paged me overhead, but when they page overhead, the volume of the PA is very low therefore, some other time, I barely heard them from 2 isles away, and, although all my reminders were texted to my phone as per the form that I had to fill when I put the order in, apparently what they sent, or they said that they did, was sent to my wife’s phone. Of course my wife did not get anything because they were not supposed to send any text to her. And she would have called me. So they tell me that because I have a one and a half inch spacer on each axle they’re not allowed to put the tires on. The guy gives me the key and says that I’m free to go. I said no I’m not free to go. Where’s my money, all 1100 of them? Now the problem started with people looking at their computer screen, as if they came from the middle ages and it was the first time that they were seeing a computer screen. The higher up came. Had the same look. The department manager came and started to mumble to himself and had no clue. Finally, the manager of the Walmart location came and they gave me four receipts stating that I will be refunded supposedly two weeks after the tires are going to be received by the original shipper. I was never asked when I booked the appointment whether I had any modifications on the car. But let’s say that that was not their fault, they have to follow their policies, but there should be a policy against people that have no idea what they’re doing and that where so close of letting me go with $1100 less in my pocket. They never admitted that it was their mistake and never offered to give me for instance a gift card instead and then they could deal with the return because at that point I was not responsible for anything anymore and they were. Overall terrible experience. Goes hand-in-hand with the rest of customer service since Covid, when , if everything goes nice and smoothly, it can be OK. But if there is a dent in the path, all hell breaks loose, and people turn into morons. No, I am not recommending this place anymore.
