I recently went to document the post office at the Oldfield's Store and went inside to use the restroom and grab a cup of coffee. Pulled out money to pay and it was waved away, they provide it free for customers. Ended up chatting a bit about their fight to save their post office while many other rural locations are being shut down. A true general store with lovely people, I only wish I traveled this route more and could stop by often.
Had me a great bologna and cheese sandwich, which reminded me of my childhood. 👍🏼
