Do you sell pepper spray? It is legal in NYS if sold by a gun store. I have purchased it many times in the past, but the gun store on Union has gone out of business.

Thank you for your answers, but pepper spray is legal in NYS. I have purchased it in NYS multiple times from 2 gun stores that are now closed. I had to submit my driver’s license in order to make the purchase. Regarding internet purchase, it is illegal to ship paper spray to NYS.

It will depend on your pet.  All service animals are welcomed in the store. Pets must be on a leash and properly behaved.  Be prepared to clean up after your pet and make sure the display animals and items for sale do not frighten your pet.

Calling ahead to be sure someone knowledgeable is on duty is a dang good suggestion from Mike.  My last two purchases from the gun counter we VERY lenghty and I wished I would have called ahead.  I started the stop watch when I pulled a ticket from their You're Next machine.  Waited 45 minutes to be seen by a gun counter associate and I had one guy in front of me.  On my two occasions, they were grossly understaffed.   After the lengthy security questionnaire,  their computers were acting up (on both separate visits) ad that added another 20min wait to the process.  Total time from stepping into the store until walking out: 2 hours 10minutes
