Walmart Supercenter MIDDLETOWN - Hours, Reviews & Deals

I decided to stop by since I was going to visit the haleria mall a few minutes away. This a super center so you can find pretty much anything. Plenty of staff available to help story was well stocked. Bathrooms were kept clean. On the checkout there was a line but it moved quickly since there's plenty of registers and self checkout. My overall experience was great no complaints. If I'm ever in the area again definitely stopping by.

My rating is minus zero stars. Perhaps, it is the custom of people in NY to be extremely rude and unwelcoming or perhaps this is something that you only find at stores here in New York. I can say with a complete degree of certainty that the employees at this Walmart are amongst the rudest, most unprofessional and completely lacking in any customer service training or skills that you could ever encounter at any of these Walmart stores. Furthermore, it's not uncommon for any of these Walmart stores to have employees with zero customer service training or skills, but this store takes the prize for having the worst and rudest ones of all, and the worst customer service experience overall. An individual from the toy section not only refused to assist me by contacting somebody from the outdoor section so I could be assisted with an item that was locked, and I needed to buy from this section. Another employee said that Walmart does not allow them to call somebody or to assist customers at all. What Walmart? In Walmart, Texas, the employees do make attempts to assist and if they can't assist themselves, they call an employee who can. Jimmy, at the self-check-out today, February 24th, 2026, moved all my items from the check-out while I moved for approximately 30 seconds to get an item that I wanted which was located next to the check-out and also moved my personal belongings which I had left at the checkout along with the items I was going to purchase. So, after I got this item and was going to proceed to pay for the items, they were all gone, my belongings were pushed onto the side, and I was basically pushed out of the check-out. This specific situation was so frustrating that I decided not to complete the purchase and I left the store. Extremely rude and disgusting behavior at this store. This is one more reminder that it is absolutely not worth shopping at this extremely subpar establishment, not even if you are just passing by, and it seems to be the only option to grab some items. It makes sense why they are having to close so many of these Walmart stores around the country. People with class don't want to ever shop at this store. I strongly advise you not to give your business and your hard-earned money to Walmart, a store that treats its customers as if they were garbage and the lowest in society.
