The storefront was little more than a garage back then. While the business has undergone many changes since those early years, the one constant that has endured is our commitment to the people who live, grind out a living, and recreate on this ribbon of sand we call the Outer Banks. While firmly established as the locals' source for gear to tackle any demanding outdoor endeavor, Red's is also an FFL/Class 3 dealer. In fact, Red's Carolina Outfitters is the only storefront FFL dealer "on the beach" between Corolla and Frisco.

I’ve bought close to a dozen fire arms and thousands of rounds from these gentleman and they’re the absolute best. The guys are nothing but kind and knowledgeable. Dillon is a walking firearm encyclopedia and has been more than helpful on every single occasion.
