Walmart Supercenter MOUNT AIRY - Hours, Reviews & Deals

I was at the Mount Airy Walmart on 01 February 2026, the day after receiving 6 inches of snow in the Mount Airy area. The parking lot had been scraped. It was full with vehicles. It’s sort of resembled what one would find around Christmas shopping at Walmart. I am sure this particular Walmart was operating with diminished staffing as I know there are lots of callouts on a snow day. However, I was able to do my shopping in a reasonable amount of time. When I got to the checkout, I did not have to wait. I used self check out. My checkout did require associate help. That help is readily available. In addition, every associate that I dealt with was friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a pleasant experience shopping at Walmart on this snow day.

This is the second Walmart that I have seen using visual merchandising to enhance the products for sale. High end stores use it all the time. This will bring more sales and people seeing ideas
