Russell was an excellent instructor from start to finish. He was patient and a wealth of knowledge for someone who never shot a gun before. After his lessons and classes I am extremely confident in my ability to shoot several types of guns including a rifle, shotgun and multiple handguns. I enjoy going out to the range and shooting by myself with the confidence he gave me in my abilities! I would recommend his class to any and all, whether you have been shooting for years or haven’t even held a gun!

Russell is an outstanding instructor. I have taken both the Concealed Carry Weapon Group Class and a number of Private Classes from him. In the private classes, he really goes above and beyond, teaching not only target practice, but also reviewing different weapons, ammunition, safety, etc. He was always willing to answer any question and was extremely patient with someone who had never before even held a gun. I now feel very competent and comfortable with several types of guns, including shotguns, rifles, and various handguns. I highly recommend his classes, no matter your skill level. Beginners will benefit from his patience, and those with more skills will benefit from his extensive knowledge and experience.
