Walmart PISGAH FOREST - Hours, Reviews & Deals

Went in today to pick up some toiletries when I saw that Christmas Items were 75% off. I loaded my cart with items I wanted, but 1 item was out of my reach. A tall employee wearing a Walmart vest was near, (his vest was a little different, maybe a stocker or inventory team) I stated “Sir, I’m vertically challenged (I’m short) could you reach something for me?” He huffed and said “Get a way from me, I’m really sick!” So I stepped back. He grabbed the item I pointed to and handed it to me over the top of his head never looking at me, which is fine since he said he was sick. Now, North Carolina currently has a High Flu rate, and I’m having people over for New Years, so being sick isn’t on my radar. Why didn’t Management make him at least wear a mask? Why didn’t management make him go home if he’s so sick, he shouldn’t be around other people?? Hey, effect your whole work Team, that’ll be good for Management when no one can work because 1 person was “really sick”. I got what I needed and wanted out of the store…that took another 45 minutes! I was 2nd in line at the garden department register. The cashier took FOREVER to check out the woman in front of me, who had all of 10 items, 7 were discounted Christmas clothing, 3 items were cleaning supplies. I had 5 boxes of Christmas lights, 2 Christmas timers, 2 tubes of tooth paste. I ‘get’ people who work at Walmart don’t make enough to take a day off when they’re “Really sick” and can’t afford to lose pay, I get that…(A Corporate/Management problem!) and I get they don’t make enough money to work quickly … Brevard needs a Target store…. I hate this store…

The store was trashed, hard to find sizes in clothing. Employees looking sick and coughing. Politely asked an employee how they were doing while I was browsing. She had the audacity to make a snarky comment towards me about making a mess as if it was my fault. I couldn’t have made a visible impact on the lack of organization if I had spent the entire day there. Let alone the 15 minutes I was actually in the store. Items were priced incorrectly and the total was significantly more than expected. Employees at checkout could not assist with pricing issues. If I was a manager I’d address these concerns immediately. This was 8:30pm on Sunday 11/9. Rude employee looked to be in her early 70s medium length white hair. Desperately needs a lesson in manners.
