CAPITOL RANGE & FIREARMS Youngsville - Hours, Reviews & Deals

This review is really split into two, the range side and the shop side. The range is nice. It has fixed length distance with both static or animated targets projected onto paper. You get real-time feedback on your hits, and can create an account and sign in at the station to track it (or just use guest mode). The only real annoyance is having to call someone over to progress the paper feed once it quits reading. The staff routinely offer advice and take care of spent casings. The shop side they still seem to be trying to figure out. They've changed the layout multiple times and can't quite seem to get it right. Prices seem to be a bit all over the place, nothing I'd go out of my way for. It can be hit and miss for quality of service. My wife had a bad experience and didn't stay on the range during one visit and they refunded her range fees and were super friendly about it, but on another visit the lady checking us in didn't communicate with us and got flusterd quickly, to the point that we just left rather than using the range. The main thing this place has going for it is location and climate controlled. There isn't exactly a lot of other options in the area.

This place is outstanding. I have utilized their range many times and always a fun SAFE environment. Their sales team and gunsmith services are the best. Taylor and Arthur always takes good care of me when I am looking forward something new and always answers my questions. Baron their gunsmith does fantastic work and can mod anything. Highly recommended.
