Academy Sports + Outdoors NORTH CANTON - Hours, Reviews & Deals

Went in to vist this location for the 1st time after seeing billboards around the city. Amazing set up and lots to choose from. This store is like Basspro and Dicks. I looked around prices were good and I remembered that I needed a cast iron skillet. Found an employee in the shoe department and asked what section it was located and was told they didn't sell any... hmmm I saw camping equipment so I found this hard to believe. So I went where I felt it would be and behold they had them. So I went back to let the employee know they sold them and his reply was I only work in shoes so I didn't know???? Ok so say I'm not sure and pass the buck. Very simple solution. But he didn't like me telling him they sold them yikes!!. The cashier who checked me out was nice and happy to get my business. Not sure if I'll come back. Maybe the shoe department employee was having a bad day. Not a great excuse but hopefully he has a better day. Products can be bought at any retail store, it's the customer service that brings them back to become loyal customers...

Great store excellent sales personnel. Fantastic shopping experience. I'm glad I made the short drive from western Pennsylvania,Academy rules over the BIG ( _ _ _ _ _ ) sporting goods store in our area!
