Walmart Supercenter EL RENO - Hours, Reviews & Deals

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wal-Mart today! The product selection was impressive, with a wide variety of items from everyday essentials to specialty products like that amazing sugar-free syrup I picked up—rich, flavorful, and at an unbeatable price. Everything was so easy to find, thanks to the well-organized aisles and clear signage, making my shopping trip hassle-free. The store was spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment from the moment I walked in. The customer service was top-notch; the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to assist with any questions I had. To top it off, the checkout process was lightning-fast, with efficient lines and helpful cashiers that got me out the door in no time. Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable, and stress-free visit—Wal-Mart, you’ve got it all figured out! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, value, and convenience.

12/18/2025 I went into this Wal Mart at 5:50 am. Doors opened for me and I went straight to the bakery to grab what I needed. I purposely checked on Apple Maps to see if this location was open before I drove out there. It showed “Open”. See screen shot below. While I was in the store location, I hear somebody yelling from across the store. We are not open. It shocked me at first because someone was yelling and I turned around and I look and this employee is walking towards me aggressively yelling, “we are not open!” I put my hands up and tried to explain to her that door automatically opened and that maps said this location was open and she continued to scream over me. I said I am leaving but she made such a ruckus that everyone is coming up front. It was out of line the way she was treating me. I just wanted to inform someone that the information isn’t correct but I’m leaving. She continued to yell. A shift lead walks up and doesn’t say anything other than “we’re closed” and points at the door. I walk towards said door and asked can I speak to you outside, she agreed and goes straight to small print showing the hours. I said that’s fine but I checked on maps before I drove to this location in which it said it was OPEN. I wasn’t trying to say I had a right to be in there because of misinformation online, I just wanted her to know it was wrong but she clearly didn’t care what I had to say. I was shocked at how I was being treated as if I was in there stealing. She could of easily said “I’m sorry about the wrong information, I understand the frustration and I’ll coach the employee about escalating too fast”. Had the woman just approached me and said “I’m sorry but we’re not open yet”, I would of apologized and walked out. Horrid experience and I felt like I was about to get jumped. They just went about it all wrong. I know I’m just one person, but I won’t be back there ever again. It’s a shame you set up shop in a small town and treat a regular customer like crap.
