Rainier Arms

Rainier makes great UltraMatch bbls. They might not be the cheapest, but they have a real pursuit of making one of the finest barrels on the market made from high-quality blanks. I have a couple of their barrels in 5.56 and 6.5 Grendel. Both barrels were really high quality. I am in the process of building a 6.5 Gren pistol with a 12.5" barrel and will probably go through them for the barrel again. The Ultramatch with the TiN gold end usually only comes on their premium barrels. They have a 90 day unlimited round return policy, so you can get it and put it through the paces before you decide to keep it. The fact they allow that type of guarantee you have to be building quality barrels or you'd be out of business by now. I've even heard of someone who was able to return one after using one for a year. You won't find any other company willing to do that. They are good people that are focused on good customer service.

They are not very efficient in their order processing, such that if they don't receive the required FFL, they do nothing. They won't contact the customer to inform them. If you do a status check on your order it just says processing. A handful of emails did go back and forth the day of the order in regards to FFL information, with my final reply being 'If it's not received by close of business, let me know'. But they didn't let me know, they sat with an open order. Upon calling them I'm told that it's "incumbent" on me.....? They get my money, but for some reason it's my responsibility to check on them? No, it's RAINIER's responsibility to inform the customer if there is an issue with the order and what specifically the issue is so that the customer can resolve it. Not sit around with money and products in limbo.
