As an avid waterfowl hunter I'm no stranger to shotguns, but I was having a hard time hitting the targets, so I booked a lesson mid-season with Kim. She was absolutely phenomenal! I learned more from her in an hour than I have the last 3 years of hunting. She listened to my wants and goals, and tailored the lesson specifically to what I needed. She made it very fun and easy to learn. She also gave me some tips on what to work on next time I'm at the range by myself. I 100% recommend taking a lesson with Kim, and I plan on taking a lesson mid-season every year to keep brushing up on my shooting.

I should have written this review sooner. I participated in their Shotgun instructor course took place in early September 2025. First of all, Five stars. Love and respect all the instructors and personnel at the club. It was a 3 day (full day) course. Student instructors would be taught and instructed by four well experienced teachers/instructors. Each student has the opportunity to learn from and work with all four of them, to try different teaching methods and useful experiences. The teaching concept and approaches were on hands. Means it’s much more on the filed , in person, on hands, on the points, in real time instructions and correction if you’re doing something incorrect rather than reading and reciting from the textbook. Learning from this teaching method, I would say what I have learned from the course have been installed in my long term memory and I can use them for the rest of my life. In short, the course is so well worth it. After completing the course , not only I’m now a certified shotgun instructor, also, I can say my own shooting skills have been improved substantially.
