What in the hell happen to my Cabelas since bass pro took over.
Alot of my cabess probucts gone. The warranties gone. And so have I more now. Looking at other stores.

The store continues to decline. Have been going to thebHamburg location since it opened. Today Invisited the stores and found the selection of many items except fishing gear lacking. I miss the Bargin Cave that you could find good deals with close out items. While the selection of rifles and handguns pretty decide  the accessories like scope mounts linited.

It has been sad to watch "America's Foremost Outfitter" turn into a casual mens clothing store. Can't believe the sunglass section is now as big as the hunting clothes corner hidden in the back of the store. Just a matter of time till the huge flagship store in Hamburg is sitting empty 🙁

I can relate, last time every item I was looking for was not in stock or they do not have it. It was raining hard and I though while I was there I would pick up an umbrella but they do not carry umbrellas......

It is still an exceptional speciality store but missing some of the common goods.

Are firearms that are in a holster permitted while shopping throughout the store?

Cabelas allows concealed and open carry firearms where state laws govern the situation. The signs to check firearms are for guns being returned or traded in to the store.

As long as you don't plan on removing it from the holster and its concealed you are good to go. Just went about 3 weeks ago and the gentlemen told me as long as I didn't unholster the weapon I was fine without the firearm check in. pretty sure that only applies to pistols though. "Pennsylvania" not sure of other states

Why are there prices so extremely high compared to every one else's, I don't get it...sure the stores are nice to visit but come on...i priced a scope and it's 100 dollars more than anyone else's.

They sell everything at ms rp but they do run some amazing sales and offer coupons.  Just have to wait for them not only that but their customer service is exceptional so any problems with your purchase and they will do the right thing

You can buy from anyone you like, the prices are elevated mostly because they aren't the average retailer. The employees you can tell are treated well by how they treat the customers.  They do have bargains and sales as well.

There were a lot of dogs when we visited the Hamburg store April 2019 I personal don't agree with dogs being allowed in public buildings, unless they're service animals, unless it's a pet store. Many people have allergies.

We were allowed in 2016 when dog was a pup.  Following year we were allowed in front door, but turned away by the time we reached the info desk with a sorry, 'service dogs only.'  However, we have seen dogs there since then. Heading there tomorrow with fingers crossed; I sense the current head manager probably has a say in this.  We have a well behaved Canine Good Citizen certified dog, fyi.

*Edit:  We stopped in on a very rainy Mon., Sept. 10, 2018.  Not only was our dog allowed in with no problem, there were many other dogs present!  In addition, when we arrived we followed signs to RV parking and noticed they had exercise pens for dogs and larger ones for horses.  I like this place more every time we go.

I'm looking for more information on a trail camera shown in the flyer I received in the mail. I typed in the name of the product and item number and both searches came back with no results! How can you buy something if you can't see the specs?

Sounds like you need to call the store and ask that question of customer service. They should have the specs on file. If that doesn't work, I suggest you try and see if the manufacturer has a website and look it up that way.
