Regretfully, I initially avoided Advanced Arms when I first moved to the area because I had heard the employees were rude. After finally stopping in and making a few purchases, I was reminded yet again to never believe everything you hear. The staff was extremely well-informed and patient, and they answered the endless amount of questions I threw at them without hesitation. I believe Mary is the woman who resembles Trinity from The Matrix, and I’m not sure what some people expect from her or the rest of the team — but I found her to be nothing but professional, helpful, and pleasant. In fact, I ended up following all of her advice on one of my purchases, and I’m better off because of it. Last night, after receiving a very nice letter from Advanced Arms thanking me for my business, I decided to look up their reviews — and honestly, my own experience couldn’t have been more positive. Highly recommended.

My experience is much like that of others: Advanced Arms staff was unhelpful and rude. In my case the firearm they sent had serious flaws. Had Advanced taken a moment to examine it before shipping, it would have been immediately obvious that the rifle had serious problems - in this case a safety that binds, a bolt that does not lock securely, and a magazine floor plate that does not open. When I called, their representative very rudely told me that the problem was Winchester's not theirs, and gave no response when I asked why they had not, obviously, inspected the rifle before selling it. When I, quite upset at that point, said that in the age of internet bad customer service is not good for a business and that I was going to be posting a negative review, the rep responded, in a very impolite manner, "You an be sure that the owner will be responding to it."
