Re-cut the dovetails on my Rock Island 1911 10mm to match the Novak specs. Installed new sights. Fantastic job. All done with a short lead time and fair price. Has become my main gunsmith. He also re-barreled a 300 win mag for 300 RUM and it shoots excellent.
I went in to ask about the fitting of a barrel I purchased for my 1911. Ulmer checked it out and recommended to shoot it. He did not think any work was necessary. From this I gather he is an honest and knowledgeable businessman. If I ever need anything, I'd go back.
