I went to bnb this afternoon with some items that were all in pretty good condition I had a trolling motor and a hummingbird fish finder $(350)a brand movie projector and a bear compound bow. Now the trolling motor had a little bit of dirt on the top, but it wiped right off with a paper towel. The cables were good and when I looked it up online, it was a $300 trolling motor now granted this was used so I didn’t expect to get anywhere near retail Price the movie projector was mine. I had purchased it for outdoor movie night less than six months ago and paid $500 for it . It had 120 inch screen The Remote, and all the accessories needed. the bear compound bow was a bear instinct retail on those bows are anywhere from two to $300 but it was just an old bow that I had laying around that was just taking up space I brought a few other items. Everything was in pretty great shape. I was gonna put it on Facebook marketplace but I’ve done business with B&B in the past and enjoyed their customer service so I figured hey I’ll stop in there. See what they have. Maybe get some store credit and buy something new. I was met by a lady at the counter. She was very respectful, but she said that she was going to get a guy named Daniel to come look at the stuff. I began showing Daniel some of the things that I had. Before I could even start to explain, he told me that this stuff was all trash and basically yard sale stuff. I tried to stop him and explain, but you couldn’t get a word in edgewise from the moment he walked out of his office. You could tell he was pissed off and didn’t wanna come do it. He started to tell me that you couldn’t give away a bear bow. I explained to him that I am very familiar with the archery market and am a avid shooter. But he interrupted me for the fifth time and specifically told me that it was best as yards of items that he was not interested and I brought him junk .before I could even say thank you he walked away. Now maybe Daniel was just having a bad day. But his customer service was so bad that as long as he’s there, I will never return to B&B as long as he’s there. I know people bringing junk all the time and I understand that it’s probably exhausting but these items were not junk. They were all pretty much brand new. I just didn’t have a space. I would’ve probably sold everything for 175 bucks or store credit. I was even thinking about purchasing a firearm while I was there. Customer service is not for everyone and Definitely isn’t for Daniel
