The AR10 Platform started as a simple request from a Law Enforcement Department to manufacture a 308 in a short platform for dense populated areas. So we did just that. We knew we wanted to stay with a traditional AR10 large frame so we married the Armalite cut with some key feature of the DPMS SR-25.
