In my two visits to pickup my online oders about 1 month apart, I have seen only a couple of rifles and/or shotguns (I did not pay much attention, but one of them was an AR-15) in the store. Their selection is online.
Assuming you are a Texas resident, yes, at age 18 or older, you can purchase and own a rifle legally, if there aren't any other conditions, holding you back from doing so.

Yes you can. I did. Twice. They are an FFL dealer. If you buy from their online store, there are no FFL fees. If you want to use them, you need to pay a transfer fee, which I am not sure how much.

You can always sell it if you changed your mind. Should get close to value. Follow the rules of the law.
