Shoutout to Johnny at the gun counter! He was an absolute gem to work with! He helped us a lot with our purchase. He was so kind and had amazing customer service! I have been to many academy’s before and I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had! Johnny mentioned being new and I would have never guessed! He was so knowledgeable and friendly! We will be back to this location just for Johnny! Thank you Johnny for all your help and your service!

Genuinely love Academy, but super disappointed work the customer service today. I came in and talked to the man and showed him what I wanted. Nothing in the store was matching the prices online. He said not to worry and they would match it. I got up to the register and the man wouldn’t do it. He called another lady over and she pretty much said nope because it wasn’t showing a sale online, even though I showed her three different versions of the product. They made me leave, order online for curbside and then pick it up again. When I got there it was a slight change in the Stanley lettering on the cup (which was lot the one I wanted so I ended up returning it). They said that’s why they wouldn't price match. When I said I wanted to return it a lady working here there said that’s making a lot of leg work for us. To which I responded for the customer too. Academy is usually always willing to go above and beyond. I had never seen such lack of customer service. Academy, please don’t tell someone you’ll price match, help them pick out the product and then not do it, let alone have them leave and come back-only to walk out again without a product in general.
