Carter's Country Spring - Hours, Reviews & Deals

It's been nearly 20 years since I fired a gun, so I came here unfamiliar with a lot of things. I told the sales guy that, he asked what my purpose was and my budget "Self defense, im looking to spend around $400". He said ok, awesome, and got me out the door with cleaning kit, firearm, ammo, and some other accouterments. Super friendly. I used their firing range and had an actual blast. Would highly recommend. I made some mistakes in weapon handling, choking up too high on my pistol, and the firing range officer demonstrated to me what I was doing wrong. This staff is passionate about what they do. I'll be back again for sure and told several friends

5 🌟's!!!! Today was the 3rd time I visited Carter's Country and used their amazing outdoor range. The whole place looks and feels rustic and well put together. A very LONG range so tons of availability and distances. I took my son-in-law and we are fairly new shooters. Justin (Range Master) went well out of his way to kindly advise on bettering our mechanics and critiqued us. Justin also was kind to answer all our questions. Another very knowledgeable Range Master by the cool name 'Oakie' helped providing me information on an old but great condition Top Break Revolvers Justin saved me a lot of practice ammo by teaching us those techniques which greatly helped with my Target cluster. Spent about two hours there and I'll be coming back once a week at least. Thank you, Justin,Oakie and Carter's Country for your top rate outfit. Kind Regards, Mark
