I have a AR15 that will fire 5.56 NATO and .223 I know some ranges wont accept rifles so do you guys accept this rifle? And if so what ammo can I bring or do you guys provide ammo.

They USED to allow AR variants at the range, however, you have to purchase and use their frangible ammunition. It was Fiocchi last time I was there and was fairly priced for a 50rd box. I’m not sure if they still allow rifles even using their ammunition.

If you are having a gun shipped to a store, the receiving store should not be charging you for a background check as you already did a background check through the store you bought the gun from.Another way Superior Pawn and Gun is ripping people off!

I’m sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with us... unfortunately our hands are tied and have to follow all State and Federal laws in order to transfer the gun to you.

Why does the firearm need to be shipped to a FFL?

The Gun Control Act of 1968 outlined new rules for selling and transferring firearms. As a result, it is now federal law to have all firearms shipped to a FFL dealer so the person the firearm is being transferred to can fill out the proper paperwork and complete the required background check

I wouldn't bank on it because a common assumption with steel cased ammo is it's also steel core and the magnetic test on it won't differentiate. This range in particular also wants high velocity rounds to be verifiably frangible.
