Rocky Mountain Sports - Cody CODY - Hours, Reviews & Deals

I've been a customer of this store since around 1994, used to have good service, good prices, and an excellent selection of ammo and reloading components. Rocky Mountain Discount Sports in Riverton, Casper, and Gillette have an excellent selection of these products, and it's unfortunate that they're a long way away. You'd think that a store like this would be better stocked, being the only real gun shop in Cody. I stopped in today for some VERY basic items: case lube and gun cleaning solvent. They had no case lube whatsoever, and almost none of their usual selection of their gun cleaning solvents. No effort was made to see if there was 'more in the back', but I was told that they'd have more solvent 'this spring'. Other times I'm in there looking for what I'd think are reasonably common reloading components, I'm simply told to look somewhere else or order online. Maybe that's what I'll have to do from now on. Looks like this is what I get for trying to support local businesses. Do better, folks, you have a lot of room for improvement! Now I have to go to Murdoch's in Powell for some case lube. Such a joke!
