Bass Pro Shops Spanish Fort - Hours, Reviews & Deals

My husband and I will spontaneously stop at any bass pro shop we haven’t been to. We love them and the displays. This was the coolest one we’ve been too so far if you go to them like free natural history museums or aquariums. The educational aquarium display was massive and had some crazy fish. There were a ton of stuffed animals too. The atmosphere really is like an outdoorsy amusement park. My photos don’t do it any justice. Plus the staff was kind and we spotted some pretty decent deals on rods and grills.

Wow, this is the first time since I arrived here that I have felt a bit of racism for being Latino. I went to pick up an online order and the person who helped me did so with an incredible lack of enthusiasm and noticeable disdain. Right next to me, a lovely American couple was also picking up an order, and the treatment they received was warm and friendly, exactly how it should be. The incredible part is that it was the same woman who helped me, and I was standing right beside them — she didn’t even try to hide the difference in attitude, haha. If you visit this place and you are Latino, don’t expect much kindness.
