C2 Tactical Gun Range of Phoenix, AZ

Came in the other day about 30 minutes before closing. There were no customers on the floor but I could hear shooting from their range. All present staff members seemed too preoccupied with socializing at the end of their shift to acknowledge I was interested in making a purchase. I finally asked an associate who I believe may have been the manager about making the purchase. After a sigh and glance around the store I was asked if I held a conceal carry permit. After replying no, I was told to come back another day because their background checks were taking longer than usual. I understand some background checks come back slower depending on the individual, and with that they have no idea who I am…but for the sake of business practices don’t shrug someone off because you can’t slam dunk a quick CCW holder sale. After all, there was still 30 minutes left until closing. I’ve carried a firearm professionally across two different careers and own several NFA items. I’ve always carried under my credentials and never felt it necessary to obtain a CCW. With all that being said, it sure felt like this businesses has an elitist complex which looks down on the average customer if they don’t pass their arbitrary sniff test. Novices, please read this and consider your decision to patronize this establishment.

Was told there would be a 2 hour wait for the range. What a joke.
