Freedom Mill

I took the Basic Pistol Training Class with Steve Silvey and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Steve was not just knowledgable, but also an excellent instructor--able to present and explain concepts in a practical and easy-to-understand manner. A jovial demeanor kept the class interesting but he never undersold the necessity for safety and being personally responsible. I took the class looking for information around gun ownership and handling and I was greatly pleased with the outcome. Because of his instruction I have been able to safely experience a new hobby and look forward to many more years of enjoyment.

I took Steve Silvey's basic pistol training last month. I grew up shooting guns but those times are not something I would trust ot be safe. It was nice to go back to the basics and learn from Steve. He is incredibly knowledge. His class is on the 1st and 4th sunday of each month. Time is spent in the range where he coaches the people in the class. Between his coaching and the class, it set me up for success. He and the great folks at freedom mill also helped point me in the right direction to get my first pistol. If you are looking to learn gun safety, teach your family gun safety, or want to pick out a new firearm, definitely take a class from Steve and work with everyone at freedom mill. They are fantastic.
