Only providing good customer service to specific customers. Waited 25 min at the gun counter while only one employee worked with one customer the entire time. Other gun counter workers came and went, but did not help anyother customers. I had ordered a gun and was there to pick it up. After completing the paperwork they said I can pick it up in a week. I have a concealed carry permit so I do not have to wait a week. So, I had to do the paperwork all over again using my permit (not a big deal, simple mistake), but, before the line that had formed, they came from the back and helped another customer who was obviously one of their friends before everyone in line had been helped so I mentioned it to the employee helping me and that I could have waited at Cabelas a week ago and got the gun, but I am always try to support Sportsmans as it seems their business in decline (shopped there for years). The employee got an attitude, and said he could cancel the transaction and I could go to Cabelas and purchase the gun. I had been there almost an hour to simply pick up a gun and my ATF paperwork goes through instantly. I spoke to the manager who appologized, I got my gun and left Sportsmans for the very last time. Sad, I loved that place, but David and his fellow workers at the gun counter obviously play favorites and do not at all care about upsetting other customers in the process.
