Was new to the area and came in by mistake close to closing time on 3/1/25. I went to eyeball the firearms section, not knowing they were closing soon. The gentleman running the department came out from the back, gave me a dirty look, and said loudly, "we close soon." I told him I wasn't aware it was closing time, and I wouldn't put a purchase on him this late anyway. He crossed his arms and said, "Oh, don't worry, we wouldn't let you." I obviously left, but the gentleman made a bit of a scene, and I was a little embarrassed. First day living in Washington, the first Sportsman's I have ever visited, and I must say I don't like how I was treated. I probably won't be back. I will be calling corporate, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I will spend my money at a place that knows how to treat people with respect.
