Bear's Gun Room

This place was recommended to me by a coworker. The guy who helped me buy a pistol was helpful. Put off though by one of the employees, some old dude enjoying the view from his sad looking high horse, talking crap about women in general to another customer from behind the counter. If the owner responds they'll probably say "BS", but nope. Also proud to display their political agenda on stickers on the register. Also weird, but not surprising. I guess this appeals to their customer base but it doesn't say much about professionalism. Like, you don't need to make this your identity everywhere you go, even in your workplace. Chill. I'm sure they couldn't care less about my business anyway and it makes no difference to them, but quality ammo isn't exactly cheap and a good business can be even more successful when it creates a totally professional environment. I wanted to come back to look at shotguns but decided there really wasn't a reason to. You told someone else you're not a PC compliant shop, and that's fine. Just know that this comes at the cost of good business sensibility, and sometimes you'll lose out because of it. Nickels and dimes add up, but to each their own.
