Is there a shooting range here?
No, but 5h shooting sports have some nice ones
I’m looking to purchase a pistol I could carry on hikes in wooded areas and for personal protection. Is there’s place and/or class where I could get instructions near Palestine? I’m a novice and have never used a pistol.
There are many carry options available . revolvers are a simple choice , but hard to get ammo for right now. So I would recommend a small caliber semi auto. It would be better to set up a time when I'm in the shop to help you decide which. I do know of a place in Oakwood that can help train you after your purchase.
