I went into Sportsmans, in Kelso, to inquire about purchasing a Gen 5 Glock 17. With employees in sight, I stood at the gun counter for several minutes while I stared at them. It took one of the employees telling the other to help me TWICE, before he turned and sauntered toward me, looking absolutely miserable. He then asked, "You need something?" And I asked if he had the firearm I was looking for and he replied by telling me they had a Gen 1 but not the Gen 5, so I asked what the main differences were between the two and he answered, "Alot." And then blankly stared at me.. After a couple seconds I asked if he could elaborate because "Alot" doesnt help me. He then sighed and said, "I guess ill just show you.." After him unenthuseastically explaining some of the differences for me I asked if they just didnt carry the Gen 5 or if I could order it and he looked at me and said, "We carry it." So I asked if I could order one, and he said, "Its easy to order online." And then again just stared blankly.. I felt like he hated his job, and that i was bothering him by asking questions about the product I wanted to purchase. He was not helpful in any way, and he didnt explain how I should order it or what to look for on the website or anything. Hands down the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time, and I will be taking my business elsewhere after this. Leaving a store, uninformed, and feeling like a bothersome idiot, for asking a couple simple questions about purchasing a product is unacceptable and I implore Sportsmans Warehouse to go over customer service etiquette with your employees. Possibly common human interaction and decency as well.
from googleThere are a lot of good products, but the workers absolutely do not want to do their jobs. I waited 10 minutes for someone to pay attention to me, and when I started staring at one of them, they finally asked if I needed help with something. After explaining what I needed, she said she would find someone to help me, after a few minutes of waiting, a man came and said he didn't have the keys and left again. I waited another 5 minutes and left. Such workers will ruin another good business in Kelso. It's very sad.
